We are pleased to offer you the complete itinerary of ‘Ladakh with Gangotri Tour’ it is, well designed itinerary will give you the chance to explore The Land of Mountain Passes, Ladakh along with the Land of gods (Devbhumi), Uttarakhand. The duration of the tour is 23 nights and 24 days, covering Delhi, Manali , Sarchu,Uletokpo - Leh ,Haridwar,Rishikesh,Harsil, Gangotri, Bhojbasa,Tapovan, Chirbasa, Gangotri, Maneri, Rishikesh and Haridwar.
Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi
On arrival at the Delhi airport, our representative will meet you at the airport, transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi, which will cover the major sites of the city such as India Gate, Parliament House, Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, Humayun Tomb and Red Fort, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Chhatrapur Temple. In the evening, revisit Red Fort to enjoy an impressive light and sound show. Overnight stay the night at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi- Manali Sightseeing
In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Manali by road. Manali is a one of the most beautiful hill station of Himanchal Pradesh surrounded by snowy mountains and dense pinewoods, located at the bank of Beas River, which enhancing the beauty of surroundings. On arrival in Manali, Check in to the hotel. Rest and relax in the hotel room for a while. Later, proceed to a sightseeing tour of Manali, visit the main attractions of Manali including Hadimba temple, Solang valley, Raghunath temple, Vashisht baths, Beas Kund, Jagannathi Devi temple and the Pandoh Dam. At Solang valley you may enjoy adventure sports like parachuting, skiing, zorbing and paragliding. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Manali & Sarchu
After early breakfast, proceed to Sarchu. located at the distance of 230 kilometers away from Manali. It is a major halt point that provides for tented accommodation on the Leh-Manali highway, located between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulung La to the north, at the height of 4,290 meter from the sea level.On reaching Sarchu, Check in the camp. Rest day is free at leisure, just explore the spectacular surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp.
Day 5: Sarchu & Leh
Post breakfast, drive to Leh. Via Lachungla Pass. Leh is located at the distance of 222 kilometers away from Sarchu. Take a halt on midway for lunch at Pang. After lunch, resume drive to Leh. After crossing the highest road Tanglagla Pass we reach Leh. Check-in at pre booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 6: Leh Sightseeing
Post breakfast in the morning, embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Leh which include Shey monastery, famous for A 12 meter high copper statue of Gautam Buddha which is gold plated and covers three stories in the building is the main attraction of this Palace.
Later, proceed to Thiksey, one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh. Last but not the least, you’ll have to visit Hemis Monastery, Tibetan monastery is the one of the biggest in Ladakh which is located approximately 45 kilometers from Ladakh. The existence of this monastery was before 11th century but it was rebuilt 1672. The honour of Lord Padmasambhava. Return to the hotel at late evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Leh & Pangong Lake & Leh(Excursion Tour)
Today after having breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Pangong Lake. which is located at the distance of 135 kilometers east of Leh via the Changla Pass and drive past Durbuk and Tangste villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. It is one of the most amazing lakes in Asia and changes its color 4 to 5 times in a day. After visiting the lake , proceed to Leh hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Leh & Nubra Valley
After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley which is located at the distance of 115 kilometer via the famous Khardongla Pass, which is the highest motorable road in the world, placed at an altitude of 18360 feet. Enjoy the stunning views. The Valley is also called the Valley of the flowers, which contained the vibrant, colorful and the most beautiful flowers set amidst lush green landscape. It is also one of the most famous attraction of the Leh Ladakh.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, you can explore the picturesque surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9: Nubra Valley Sightseeing
After early breakfast drive to Diskit Village in Nubra Valley. It is popular for its apricot plantation. Also visit the Diskit monastery. This 350 years old monastery features a Maitreya Buddha statue, paintings, drums and Tibetan color-patterned silk. Later in the day visit the Hunder Village to spot the famous double-humped Bactrian camels. Later,visit the Samstanling Monastery- it is popular for its alluring ambiance and assembly halls with artifacts.Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Nubra Valley to Leh
After breakfast in the morning, transfer to Leh. After passing Khardungla pass the world highest motorable pass reach Leh. On reaching Leh check-in at your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, in the evening, take a walk to explore the Leh Bazaar for shopping souvenirs you can also visit the Leh Mosque. Enjoy the delicious dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 11: Leh to Uletokpo
After early breakfast, transfer to Uletokpo, by road which is 160 kilometers away from En-route visit the Alchi monastery which is known as Ladakh’s most popular monastery and a sacred enclave and a seat of learning . Later on, resume your drive to Uleytokpo. On arrival check-in hotels. Just relax for a while in your room. Post lunch, proceed for excursion to the Uleytokpo trekking base. Camping in Uleytokpo is considered to be one of the most amazing experience. Overnight stay at Uleytokpo.
Day 12: Uletokpo - Lamayuru - Uletokpo(Excursion Tour)
Today after breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Lamayuru monastery, which is located at the distance of 10 Kilometers from Leh and is situated on a big rock overlooking Indus valley. Lamayuru is the earliest surviving monastery of Ladakh, knowing asYung-drung or Swastika founded in the 10th Century. After the visit to the Lamayuru monastery drive back to Uletokpo hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 13: Uletokpo - Leh Sightseeing
Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. Take a halt midway to visit the Likir and Spituk monastery. The Spituk monastery offers stunning view of Indus valley. The Dukhang Hall of the monastery has two rows of seats running the length of the walls. The monastery houses the huge collection of ancient masks, antique arms and the fine thangkas. Also visit the Mahakal temple situated on a hilltop. After the visit return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 14: Leh
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest day is free for your own. You can relax at hotel room. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the local market of Leh where you can buy the authentic items. In the evening enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15: Leh - Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Leh airport to board a flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for the day in the hotel room. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 16: Delhi - Haridwar by Train - Rishikesh ( by road)Sightseeing
Early morning, transfer to New Delhi railway station to board a train to Haridwar. Once you reach Haridwar, visit the major tourist attractions such as Chandi Devi temple, Brahmakund, Maya Devi temple, Mansa Devi temple, Sapta Rishi Ashram and the Sapt Sarovar. After the visit, resume drive to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is known as one of the popular destination for Hindu pilgrim, adventure lovers. The city is situated in the foothill of the Himalayas, located an average elevation of 1,745 feet from sea level.
On reaching Rishikesh check-in at hotels. After freshen up visit the attractions of Rishikesh such as Lakshman Jhula, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Ram Jhula, Gita Bhavan, Bharat Mandir and the Swarga Ashram. In the evening visit beautiful Aarti at the Triveni Ghat. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 17: Rishikesh - Harsil
After breakfast, transfer to Harsil. . It is a village located on the banks of Bhagirathi River, on the way to Hindu pilgrimage, Gangotri, in Uttarkashi On reaching Harsil, Check in at the hotel. After relaxing in the hotel room for a while, proceed to Sattal. On reaching Sattal visit the Sat tal which is a mysterious combination of seven natural lakes. Later in the day visit Dharali an exquisite hamlet. Stay the night at the hotel.
Day 18: Harsil - Gangotri - Bhojbasa Sightseeing
Post breakfast, drive to Bhojbasa. Stop along the way to visit the Gangotri temple which was commissioned by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century and is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi. After visiting the temple, resume drive to Bhojbasa. It is a picturesque place on the rugged terrain situated at the height of 3775 meters above from sea level. Check in at Camp. Enjoy an overnight stay at the camps.
Day 19: Bhojbasa - Tapovan
After breakfast, trek to Tapovan. It is a beautiful area beyond Gaumukh consisting of a beautiful meadow which is located at the foothill of Shivling Mountain. It offers stunning views of surrounding peaks. On arrival check-in at the camps for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 20: Tapovan - Chirbasa
Today morning after early breakfast trek to Chirbasa. This small village is situated at the height of 10,000 feet. On arrival at Chirbasa, check in at camp. Rest day is free at leisure, just explore the stunning surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 21: Chirbasa - Gangotri - Maneri Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Maneri. Take a halt on midway to visit Gangotri. Gangotri is one of the most important pilgrim for Hindus. It is located at the height of 3,100 meters at the on the Greater Himalayan Range on the banks of the river Bhagirathi. Gangotri is the spiritual source of India’s holiest river, the Ganga, It is considered one of the four Dhams. After the visit, continue drive to Maneri. On reaching Maneri, check-in at Camp. After freshen up proceed to visit the Vishwanath temple. Later enjoy trekking at Har-ki-Doon trek. While trekking, explore the natural beauty of Garhwal. Enjoy an overnight stay at Maneri.
Day 22: Maneri - Haridwar - Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Haridwar railway station to board a train to Delhi. As you reach Delhi, transfer to your pre -booked. In the evening enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 23: Departure from Delhi
In morning after breakfast at your hotel you will be driven back to Delhi Airport to board your connecting flight for the onward journey with Sweet and Happy Memories.
